With a passion for storytelling, I’m looking to not only write, direct and produce my own stories but help others tell theirs.
As a writer/script analyst, I'm looking to apply my skills to an editorial, research or developmental role, whilst as a production crew member I’m looking to apply my skills to scripted productions so I can gain experience on HETV and feature films as I work towards the goal of becoming a director’s assistant.
I'm currently the coordinator of the West Midlands Screenwriters Forum, and through my script analysis work for their international partner - the Hollywood-based screenwriting website WriteMovies.com, I’ve continued to develop my understanding of story, structure and commercial viability as I’ve written development notes, coverage and assisted with the judging their screenwriting contests.
My production background includes experience in various entry-level roles across the AD and production departments in both scripted and unscripted, whilst on short films and indie productions my primary experience has been as a camera assistant/operator. I'm also a confident self-shoot and video producer, and a Film & TV teacher at PQA Wolverhampton.
I'm an alumnus of Create Central's Rock up Ready Skills Accelerator, and The TV Foundation's The Network 2022 talent scheme. I'm also currently a member of CallTime Foundations.
I regularly work on my own independent projects; this year I've written, produced and directed two micro-short films that placed first and second in the spring and summer editions of the Producers Forum's 60 Second Cinema Contest, I'm halfway through releasing a documentary web series called 'This Is My Sketchbook', and I am currently developing a psychological thriller and silent short film.
